I am the grgrgreat grandson of Adam and Susanna Hicker. Adam was born in Lehigh which I believe in later years became Lehigh County. He is last known to be in Lehigh County, South Whitehall Twp in the 1840 Lehigh County census. Adam was in the Northhampton Militia as a Corporal in the Revolutionary War.. Then as a Corporal on the frontier against the indians. Later as a private in the War of 1812. All in Northhampton County. Would highly appeciate any information anyone would have on Adam and/or Susanna.. I was stationed in Lewisburg, Union County, Pa. for five years fron 1963 to 1968. Was in Northhampton County several times where I could of done this research and have the library at Bucknell University at my disposal. I did not know, at that time, that my family started in Northhampton County, Pa. Now that I am 75 years old and genealogy is my prime past time and I live in my home state of Washington some 3000 miles away. I could kick my behind for not obtaining the information I now seek..
