Born 7/3/1861 died 32 years later to "morphine overdose"??? He lives long enough to have 3 daughters: Lena, Florence, and Geneva. Lena is my paternal grandmother. She married Josiah R. Rishel. These two families have a lot of history in the area. I now live in Texas, but I grew up in Turbotville. Roscoe's father also died at age 32, cause...? He was a doctor who settled in Turbotville and , apparently, died there. Cause? One of my big problems is the name of Roscoe's wife. Some accounts say Elsie H. others, including a 19th century Rishel Bible, clearly state, Mary A. Smith. Maybe Elsie was a nickname, but that's what's on her tombstone, I believe.
