Hi... My Hemingray family is buried at Shamokin Cemetery. William Hemingray was a mine inspector who lived in Shamokin in the 19th century. His daughter, Elizabeth Hemingray Morgan, died sometime between 1876 and 1880 but I have never been able to find her grave site. We have an obit from a Shamokin paper stating that she returned from Ashland to the home of her parents when she became ill. Whoever saved the obit cut it out with no date. William Hemingray, his wife Rebecca Chaundy Hemingray and son William are all buried in the Shamokin Cemetery. I would love to find out if Elizabeth was buried there. Her husband, William Morgan, left Ashland after her death and moved to the Philadelphia area. Any information would be great appreciated.
