Yes they do because I searched 1906 for my great-grandfathers obituary while I was there. I believe they have them quite early. You might try calling them, their number is 570-339-0703. Be prepared to spend a lot of time in those years. They did not have an obituary, marriage or birth section in those days. The imformation is scattered all over the paper. The librarian is very helpful. I started at 1/1/1906 (having got the year from the tombstone) and it turned out to be in 12/25/06 issue. Took me two days at the library.
