I'm searching for my great grandfather's family. Specifically his mother and father. My great grandfather was Jacob Hinkle (1879-1943) of Northumberland County, Mt. Carmel, PA . He married Bessie Schreffler (about 1885-1918) in about 1907. Bessie died in the flu epidemic. They had 5 children: William F (about 1908) Dorothy (about 1909) George Jacob -my grandfather- (Dec 8, 1910-April 2, 1988) Alyce-spelled correctly, but often misspelled with an *I* (about 1915) Ruth (dates unknown) After Bessie's death, Jacob sent the children to live with family members. It is unknown where. I found Jacob in 1930 census. He lived with his brother, Joseph and his family. Here's that information. All persons, including persons mother and father, all born Pennsylvania. I am hoping to find Jacob's and his brother (Joseph's) parents and other siblings. I know nothing about them. Can anyone help?
