Recently I was in Salt Lake City and able to briefly use the LDS Family library. J. Meiser's notes on Northumberland County families is in book form there (you can also borrow it at your local LDS church library on microfiche). He listed my gggrandfather, William J's daughter Ursala C. Gass (10/14/1870 - 4/24/1920) as marrying a William A. Moody (9/5/1867 - 9/19/51) son of Allen and Katie Lewis Moody. Ursala is buried in the Summit Cemetary in Shamokin Twp, Northumberland Co, PA....Meiser has more notes on the Moodys also, but I don't have a copy of that. I am still stuck trying to find the parents of William J's grandfather, William Henry Gass, born about 1795. Have you gotten farther on the Gass line? I have also used Floyd's History of Northumberland County on line to flesh out the family a little, but you have probably already visited there. Please note I have a new em! ail address.
