    3. Dear Searchers, Isaac ROBINSON/ROBISON/ROBERTSON wrote his Will 21 October 1784, and it was entered for probate, 15 March 1786, Northumberland Co. No wife was mentioned, but her given name was Mary, [mentioned in Isaac father's Will, Little Britain Twp., Lancaster Co.] His brother, James, was one of the executors and he died circa 1795, Northumberland Co. Isaac and James were sons of Michael and Margaret (McGummery/Montgomery) ROBISON of Little Britain Twp., Lancaster Co., PA. Isaac requested that his debts be paid and any monies left were to go for the eduction of his children (minors) He further ordered that when the executors deem it appropriate they should bind his three sons to a trade. The children were, Isaac, John, Michael and Jean (female). Question (1): Since the children were minors, wouldn't guardians have been appointed for them? Also in the executor's accounting record was the following: "To Thomas Hewitt for drawing an indenture for Michael Robison..." [Nothing more of what type of indenture.] Question (2): Would the indenture be recorded in the County Recorder's Office? I descend from a Michael ROBINSON that was born in Pennsylvania, circa 1771, and migrated to Pike Co., OH, and later settled in Scioto Twp., Pickaway Co., OH. where he is buried. He mar. a woman named Elizabeth (unk.) and named his first son, Isaac. The other chldren had some of the same given names as the Michael ROBISON family in Lancaster Co. I'm trying to locate where the children in Northumberland Co. lived after the death of their father, Isaac, to see if there is a connection to my line. Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks. Patt Fulton Austin, TX.
