I am looking for information on a Peter Troutner who was listed in the 1790 Northumberland Co. census. The only other reference we have is to a Peter Trautman in some records but can not find out how he can connects to the George Michael Troutner family. Perhaps someone clarify. I have searched several databases and can find Peter Trautners from Bavaria but our family emigrated from Gundershoffen, Alsace-Lorraine region. It is my personal opinion that they connect-with an emigration either from Germany to Gundershoffen or the other way around. HELP!!!! Pat Morano.
