    3. I was saddened to read of Dr. Meiser's death. I have several of the books he and his wife, Ann, published, and met him several times while doing research in Northumberland & Schuylkill counties. He was not only extremely knowledgeable in general about Northumberland genealogy, but was able to answer questions and find information about the specific families I was researching. I'll never forget him. What an amazing legacy he and his wife have created!
