Daily Item Newspaper Sunbury PA Thursday July 8,1954 Wedded on July 6, 1954 Shirly Shultz Wed To Seaman Bostian Miss Shirly Shultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Shultz 209 North Fourth St. and Seaman Richard J. Bostian son of Charles F. "Chick" Bostian 158 South Front Street were united in Marriage in the Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday evening July 6, 7 o'clock. The Rev. Joseph M Janson pastor of the church performed the single ring ceremony. The couple was un-attended. Members of the immediate families and friends witnessed the ceremony. Mrs. Bostian a graduate of Sunbury High School class of 54 will live in this city while her husband completes his tour of duty in the Navy. Seaman Bostain who attended Sunbury High Schools prior to his enlistment is currently stationed at New Port Rhode Island. Assigned to duty aboard the U.S. Potter Stephen, Seaman Bostian expects to leave in September on a cruise to Europe. He and his shipmates recently returned from Cuba.
