    3. Looking again for any info on early McCormicks in Northumberland Co. In particular, I am interested in George, James and William listed in 1780 census for Potter Twp. In 1790 census I find Agness, Bryan, George, John, John and William. A George and Robert McCormick are listed as Frontier Rangers 1778-83. Another source has John, John, Robert and George listed in militia from Potter Twp. Also, I have a Hugh McCormick who enlisted in Rev. War in Northumberland Co., md. Rebecca Unk. in Westmoreland Co. in 1781and was discharged in Phila. in 1783 and migrated to central Ky. by 1790 and died 1822 in Owen Co., Ky. I am trying to determine if any of these McCormicks are related to my William I. McCormick b. c1755 in Va., md. Maria Cary Eggleston c1776, served in Rev. War, moved to Pa. in 1780's and migrated to central Ky. (near Paris in Bourbon Co.) where he and Maria were killed by Indians c1790. Their son John E. b. 1788 in Pa. was raised by Wm.'s brother (s) and shows up in Bracken Co., Ky. 1806/8. There was a strong link between my later McCormicks in Bracken Co. to those in Owen Co., Ky., so my William and this Hugh could be related. Appreciate any input on this issue. Art Miller, Louisville
