I am looking for parents for a Samuel Young who said in his Rev War pension application that he was born in Cumberland co in 1762 and moved to Northumberland co where he served in the militia under a Capt Samuel Young. History tells that Capt Young had brothers James and John. I suspect that my Samuel was the son of one of these three men since he was quite young when he served in the militia. Thanks J.
