We know of three brothers: Peter, Joseph and Richard and one sister, but suspect there were more. Possibly Moses, Jacob, etc. Peter served in the Rev. War and was born ca 1760 NJ. He married a gal by the name of Jane ca 1785. During the Rev. War he served around the Susquehanna River. In 1790 he was living in Penns Twp., Northumberland Co. Around 1800 this family moved to western pa. Would appreciate any information or leads on the Mattocks from Northumberland Co.
