Hi, Thanks for this information. Joseph WEHRY, born 1819, was my greatgrandfather. You have Hettie STAUFFER listed as wife #1, but actually Hannah HOKE was his first wife. They had three daughters who moved to Baltimore and Washington - some of their descendents live on Maryland's eastern shore. Hettie STAUFFER married Joseph about 1854 as wife #2. Her ancestor is Hans STAUFFER the 1709 emigrant to Philadelphia. There is no connection, in the USA, to the STAUFFER people who later arrived in America and settled in Lancaster Co.
