From the Sunbury Daily Item, Saturday, Aug. 19, 1938 COAL COMPANY FILES COMPENSATION APPEAL An appeal was filed in court today by the Susquehanna Collieries Company from an award of the Workmen's Compensation Board to Mrs. Catherine SADUSKY for the death of her husband. SADUSKY collapsed while at work clearing up a wreck February 5, 1936, and died. A Workmen's Compensation Board referee ruled that he died of over-exertion and awarded the widow compensation of $4,024 for herself and family. In the appeal, the coal company alleges that the board erred as a matter of law in holding that over-exertion was the cause of death and assert it was unsupported by any competent evidence. Sue Marcus
