In the last several days, I have received over 25 (and counting!) death notices... that I do not believe have been requested by anyone on this list. If someone did request them, couldn't they be taken off list and sent directly to them. I appreciate and fully and completely understand that these lists are for the sharing of information, filling in our family trees, and the education of all involved. We all run across something once-and-awhile that we think might be of interest to others even if we are not working that particular family line and post it. But unless these many, many notices have been requested by someone, they become a form of Spam. My intention is not to be rude.... But I believe the continued posting of death notices is unnecessary.
