I am trying to prove my lineage to the Emigrant William HAYNES. His grandson was Joseph HAYNES, b. 18 Oct 1683 in Salem, Essex Co., Mass. I believe he married Hannah CLEMSON (d/o James CLEMSON and Katherine WRIGHT), in Chester (Delaware) County, PA before 1718 as their first child Bartholomew HAYNES (my 7th gGrandfather) was born in that year. James CLEMSON was granted land warrants in 1712 in Chester County. Does anyone connect to this family or can anyone on the list tell me where the marriage records for that time would be kept? Thanks for your help. Sue
Dear Sue: I go back to William Haynes B 1730 married Katherine Baker. However, at one time I thought that I was in a different line and received a complete lineage from Patrick McDonald who has done extensive research. May I suggest that you email him at partick@mpz.com.au or patrick@aussiehobbies.com You might just email to both addresses. Patrick is a very nice man and was very willing to email me his line, too bad that I later found out that we weren't cousins. Good luck and would you mind to let me know what you find out?
