If so, I would try the church near where they lived for baptismal records. I "lucked" out in finding the exact village and province in Poland both sets of my grandparents were from because the priest listed the info on each child's baptismal record. Many of the early immigration records only list the person's country of origin. Another suggestion would be to request their naturalization info.
