Daniel Barton was born in Virginia, lived for a time in Northumberland Co in PA, and possibly Yates Co in NY, before arrivng in Brant Co, where he lived the balance of his life with his wife, Jane Irving. Many descendednts still live in Brant count ytoday. John Barton was born in Dutchess Co NY, may have live for a time in Cayuga Co NY and the Gore District (Brant) before finally settling in Townsend Twsp in Norfolk Co. with his wife, Elizabeth Day. I believe for a time they both may have lived close to each other along Fairchild creek. A decendent of Daniel and I have taken a DNA test, and match as being closely related.
