He was researching Gene Krupa, the drummer. I was born and lived in South Chicago, in the immediate area where Gene Krupa and his family lived and attended church. I did not know Gene Krupa or his family; I knew of him because my Dad would always point out to me a house where Gene Krupa and his family lived. I also knew Gene Krupa and his family were buried in the same cemetery as my family. I replied to Dennis Brown telling him what I just told you. I did some research and sent it to Dennis Brown along with photos I took of Gene Krupa's grave. About six months after I sent the pictures to Dennis Brown I found them posted on Find-A-Grave. I sent Dennis Brown all of the information I found on Gene Krupa and closed my files since I had no immediate interest in him or his family. I continue to be involved in genealogy, mainly Polish genealogy. I am a volunteer with the Polish Genealogical Society of America; I assist with replying to the many letters and e-mail received each week. If you are interested in Gene Krupa, the drummer I would suggest you type his name in the search box on the opening page of Ancestry....there are several relatives who have posted.
