His wife was Mary, also born in 1783. I have found no evidence of Jacob after 1840. It is believed he died in 1842 in Union County. It is also believed that his family lived in Union County, part of which became Snyder County. I think his brother's name was Henry, who was born about 1779 and died in 1857 in Union County. Henry's wife was Anna Maria. Jacob is listed as living in Turbot, Northumberland County in the 1840 census. I know that there were some Diniuses in Lancaster County in the late 1700s, and that part of Lancaster County became Northumberland, so it is possible that Jacob is related to these families. However, there was a Jacob Dinius who arrived in Philadelphia in the 1760s. There, at least so far, is no connection between the Denius family of Union/Snyder/Northumberland Counties and this Jacob, who moved to Ohio. Can anyone help me find our more about the Jacob listed in the 1840 census in Turbot, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania?
