Carmel, are you going to the Historical Society in Subury. If you do make shure its a day that Jack Lindermouth is there. Also one way to look up Burials in Northumberland Co beside going through all the Miser Burial Vols at the Historical society is to see if you can get the Miser Burial List from the nearest Family History Center, these are the brances of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. There is one in York Pa, and Baltimore that many in my Harford Co. Md. genealogy group use, and Im planning on ordering the same microfilm. Since the Pa State Archives are closed for renavations, this is one way to get thses records. The Archives even have the Mt. Carmel newpapers.. Mt Carmel Cem is working on finishing a computer program that will have the plot sites, even now their section and row # is didderent from the old hand written records and book at the Historical!
