According to his baptism at the Church of Our Lady in Mt. Carmel, PA, this William was born Feb. 29, 1888. There was a mark noted on the paperwork. The Diocese advised me that this may mean he died young. I was never able to find any information on him after the 1900 census where he was living with his aunt and uncle,John and Catharine Carroll Hall. This William was the son of John B. (1850-1894) and Mary Ann Carroll Ford (1853-1905). Mary Ann was the sister of my gg-grandmother. Perhaps the "A" stands for Alfred? Alfred was a common name in the Ford family of Mt. Carmel PA after the patriarch, Alfred Ford (b. about 1823), who was one of the first residents of Mt. Carmel. I should also tell you that John and Mary Ann Carroll Ford DID have a set of twin sons: Alfred and John . Maybe your Wilbert is the same William in my family.
