I have been looking for the parents of Aaron Joseph Stout or Joseph Aaron Stout for 25 years plus. He went by the name of Aaron. Recent information says he may have came from this area. Here is what I know......... Aaron Stout, b. about 1813 - 1814 PA, d. about 1863 Centre Co PA. He worked in the mines. He married Mary Shawley in Centre Cp PA. She was b. 1817, d. 1892 They are probably buried in the Zion Cem - no markers - I have researched all Centre Co Cem and find-a-grave. Tax records were found up to 1862. 1850 CENSUS MARION TWP CENTRE CO PA Aaron Stout - age - 37 - laborer......ggfather Mary Stout age - 32 - wife..........this is Mary Shawley Stout Margaret Stout - age 7............this is Martha Anna Stout Naomi Stout - age 5.............this is Naomi Elizabeth Stout John Stout - age 3 Jacob Stout - age 6 months......twin to Jonah Jonah Stout - age 6 months....twin to Jacob James A Stout was born the next year - 1851 Joseph Underwood Stout was born the next year - 1851, d. 1922......gfather Because Joseph's middle name is "UNDERWOOD", we think it may be the maiden name of Aaron's unknown mother?
