If so, I would try the church near where they lived for baptismal records. I "lucked" out in finding the exact village and province in Poland both sets of my grandparents were from because the priest listed the info on each child's baptismal record. Many of the early immigration records only list the person's country of origin. Another suggestion would be to request their naturalization info. Good luck, Ruth Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I have a good bit of information on the family in America, but I know nothing about where they came from in Poland. I'm pretty sure they immigrated in the year 1900, but it could have been 1901 as well. Here are the family members' names, if anyone recognizes them: [Father: Frank Marchelski], [Mother: Anna (Unknown)], [Son: Joseph Marchelski], [Daughter: Mary Marchelska], [Daughter: (Unknown) Marchelska], [Daughter: Rose Marchelska]. I have some more information on each individual family member if anyone needs it. I've been trying to locate this family's origins for a long time now. I haven't been able to locate any immigration records, either. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The earliest John Conville b. about 1835 and who was from Ireland married Catherine Boyle who was born in Co. Tipperary. The Boyles were in and around Minersville and Hazleton areas before they settled in the Mt. Carmel, Pa. area. If I uncover a Minersville connection to the Conville families, I'll pass it along.
