Thanks so much ! I went there today and found it no problem....had been driving right by the entrance road to the cemetery several times before ! And what a gold mine it was for me with my "Ziegler" family ancestors ! New question... do you have any idea where a "RIVER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CEMETERY " is ? I know it is in Lower Augusta Twp., too, but I have yet to find it. I have found records that my 6th G Grandfather is buried there, so it is an OLD cemetery. Thanks for any more help you can give . (Wolf) McBride (b. circa 1810). Siblings of Mary were, Catharine (married John Hennigh and then Phillip Grove), Peter (married Sally Ream and then Catharine Karr), Margaret "Peggy" (married John Decker), Jacob, John (married Mary Wagner, not sure of the second wife's name), & Elizabeth (married Samuel Friese). It doesn't appear that your Sarah Wolf fits in unless she is the child of one of the siblings. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. My fraternal grandparents came thru this port as many of the other immigrants did. The Mormons have these records on microfilm and the cost to rent them is very reasonable. If you have found them on a census, the year of immigration and naturalization would be shown. If the naturalization occurred after 1906, there is a lot of info on the records. Hope you knock down that proverbial brick wall. Ruth Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The line I'm directly related to is Rose Marchelska, who unfortunately had none of her children in Pennsylvania. I haven't found anything out about her siblings besides their names, and I'm not sure how to get more. No search, using a variety of surnames, ever turns out information about her siblings. I've even looked at a marriage index for the whole county from the year 1900 and beyond, with no luck. Any advice on how I might be able to find out more about her siblings? Perhaps some sort of record produced in Shamokin? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
