I believe the Pomfret Manor Cemetery has an office right inside the main gate where you would be able to find plot information. I'm not sure about the other cemetery. John
I see you have Dinger in your surname list. Who are you looking for? John
When you go to the Sunbury courthouse to research, what is the most efficient way to copy? I read that the copier is in the basement. Is it? The last time that I was there, it was in the section of the Register of Wills, in an office. I do not have a laptop. Has anyone had success with a digital camera? What ways other than the copy machine has anyone had success? Thanks Marti

Are there records available showing the names of each person in the cemetery and the actual plot locations?

I know of the huge cemetery on the hill in Shamokin. Known to me as Shamokin Cemetery. Is their another cemetery known as Shamokin City Cemetery or is it referring to the same cemetery? I assume it's the same, but I'm not positive. Thank-you, Heather

Hi I am new to this list, but I am looking for a death certificate of my 3rd great grandfather who died in 1890, when I went to the site for our courthouse it said death certificate's from 1893-1905. Does anyone know where I can get death cert's prior to 1893? Also, I am in search of an obituary for 1890 as well, I believe the library doesn't have that, does anyone know if there's a place to get that as well? Thanks so much, Heather

Provided that the rain holds off tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) I will be making a trip to the Shamokin Cemetery to take some photos of headstones. I'm willing to take requests for photos if anyone is interested but, I must know the location of the grave as specifically as possible. I will take the first 10 or so requests and I will email the list again when I have gotten that many. Sorry for putting a limit on it but I won't have too much time to spend there. I will be making similar offers in the near future however, in case you don't get your request in this time. Heather Makal
