My husband tells me that his brothers names were Nep & Leroy. He had sisters named Della and Florence. My husband was born in Lavelle also. He has three sisters. Betty, Lois and Ruth.

    3. I was sent a death certificate of the wrong name the woman's name is Margaret A. Hepner birthdate(or what it seems to be) Feb 10, 1892 deathdate of Aug 10,1943 in Allegheny Co, Pittsburg, PA Looks like she's married to a Godfrey Hepner. Anyone interested please let me know. Thanks, Heather

None of the ones you asked about seem to be in my direct line. The names are familiar, so I've come across them in my searches, but since they aren't in my direct line, I don't focus much effort on them. I did do that cemetery chart so I could weed out my Conrads from the rest, so that may be of a little help to you. It is the first web address I listed above. Chris

Contact Sister Helen, Mother Cabrini Church, 214 North Shamokin Street, Shamokin, PA 17872. Send her a list of names and dates and she can get you anything from baptistism, marriage to death information. Tell her what you want. She does this for a small donation. Then contact the Shamokin & Coal Township Public Library, attn: Mary Ellen Lowe, Library Director, 210 E. Independence St, Shamokin, PA 17872. She has a directory of names with a map to all the cemeteries associated with Mother Cabrini Church. She also charges a fee. Good luck in your research.

St Stans....was closed down and the members absorbed into Mother Cabrini church to cut costs. burial records are kept by Cabrini. Rebecca is buried Lutheran Cemetery in Port Carbon, PA. Her stone says "Mother Rebecca Wife of Daniel Nier died January 1881 aged 80 years 10 mos & 20 DA. Next to Rebecca is graves of Susan and Jesse L. Templin. Daniel Neier moved to Owen County IN where several of his children were living. He divorced Rebecca and remarried. He is buried in Fertig Cemetery, Owen Co., IN. Daniel is believed to be a son of George Neier-Schuylkill Co. PA. Kathie
