    3. Dear Bill, I''m sorry to butt in on the conversation, but if you have a chance would you look for Robert Brooks who mustered out of the 11th PA infantry on July 31, 1861 and was deceased before the time of the 1870 census. The family resided at Sunbury. Thanks so much, MaryLynn dietrichpa <dietrichpa@adelphia.net> wrote: I have the records for almost all those churches and cem in dauphin and Nothumberland co. who are you looking for?? maybe, I can be of help?? 1. SADUSKY
    2. From the Sunbury Daily Item, Saturday, Aug. 19, 1938 COAL COMPANY FILES COMPENSATION APPEAL An appeal was filed in court today by the Susquehanna Collieries Company from an award of the Workmen's Compensation Board to Mrs. Catherine SADUSKY for the death of her husband. SADUSKY collapsed while at work clearing up a wreck February 5, 1936, and died. A Workmen's Compensation Board referee ruled that he died of over-exertion and awarded the widow compensation of $4,024 for herself and family. In the appeal, the coal company alleges that the board erred as a matter of law in holding that over-exertion was the cause of death and assert it was unsupported by any competent evidence. 1. ZABARACH, NARK, URGEZK
    2. From the Sunbury Daily Item, Friday, Aug. 19, 1938 MOTOR POLICE CAPTURE ONE OF WANTED TRIO Walter F. ZABARACH, 23, Boydstown, Coal Township, was held by State Motor Police in the county jail today on charges of felonious assault, rape, and robbery on information of Ellen URGEZK, 28, of Shamokin, while search continues for two companions of the retained youth. "Slim" NARK, Shamokin youth, was the subject of a police teletype message sent out Wednesday in connection with the same case, the message stating that an unnamed companion was also wanted. It now develops, however, that there were two in addition to NARK involved. According to the story of the Shamokin girl, three men criminally assaulted her along the Pennsylvania railroad near Brady and stole her wrist watch. ZABARACH, after having been identified by the victim, was committed to jail by Justice H. O. RENNINGER of Shamokin. Sue Marcus

    2. Jeanie Stout
    3. Rachael Reed DANVILLE - Rachael Vastine Reed, 96, of Vintage Knolls, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 17, 2004, at Geisinger Medical Center. She was born Oct. 27, 1908, in Danville, a daughter of the late Hugh Spencer and Sara (Mettler) Vastine. She was married to Orville Reed, who preceded her in death. She was a 1928 graduate of Danville High School. Mrs. Reed was a member of an historically prominent Danville family. She was present, as a small girl, at Abigail Geisinger's 1913 ground-breaking ceremony for what is now Geisinger Medical Center. The dress she wore that day is still in her possession. Mrs. Reed was known to be a very independent woman of her time, starting with a career at Consolidated Edison in New York City following her high school graduation. She then returned to Danville, where she was employed in the admissions office. She later moved to State College, where she was employed by HRB-Singer Inc., before retiring. She was a member of the Mahoning Presbyterian Church, Danville. Mrs. Reed was sought out for her perspectives on the history of Danville, of which she was quite knowledgeable. Surviving are one grandson, John R. Snedden Jr. of Mechanicsburg; two great-granddaughters, Alycia and Jacquelyn Snedden of Mechanicsburg; one sister, Eleanor V. Seitz of Riverside; nieces; and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Alyce Ann Snedden; two brothers, Hugh H. and Edwin W.; and three sisters, Pauline V. Sugden, Susan V.
