    3. My grandmother, Roselda (Krigbaum) Eister died in Sunbury 7/24/1912 at the age of 38 years. I need a copy of her death certificate to determine cause of death, and I live in Arizona. Would it make sense to ask a second or third generation descendant in Northumberland Co. to go to the county courthouse in Sunbury to get a copy, should I apply for a copy through a repository in Harrisburg or Carlisle, or where else would a copy of her death certificate be available? If a completed form is required, can anyone tell me where to get a form to fill out for a 1912 death certificate of a grandparent? Nelson R. Sulouff

    1. RE: [PANORTHU-L] KITCHEN and FRAILEY burials in Northumberland Co.
    2. Hi Gary, I have a couple of mysterious ancestors from Northumberland... is there any chance you could look in your book and see if they make an appearance? Arthur ROGERS/RODGERS, born ca 1775, disappears from the records by 1821, letters of administration granted 1837. Arthur's wife, Susannah (GRUBER) ROGERS/RODGERS, born 1779, widowed by 1830, died ca 1850s. Thanks for any help or suggestions, Nicci

    3. Gary - Thanks so much for checking all the volumes and Funeral records for me. They may have gone back to Schuylkill Co.but finding death dates and cemeteries there is difficult so far - thanks again for your help! Kathleen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary L. 3. Kathleen, I checked the 6 volumes of Northumberland Burials along with the Farrow Funeral Home records and I did not find Elizabeth KITCHEN or Mary FRAILEY. Is there a chance that Elizabeth got remarried? or if you knew where they came from, they might have been taken back there to be buried. If I can look up anything else, please let me know. Genealogy is not only the study of ones family but the sharing of information with others. The 1880 census for Shamokin lists Elizabeth KITCHEN as 57 (widow) and running the States Hotel. Her aunt Mary FRAILEY, 79, was living with her. Husband William F. Kitchen died April 14, 1876 and is buried in the Shamokin Cemetery - Elizabeth is not buried with him. The dates from the tombstones would enable me to search for their Obits. Are there any resources available that would list interments in the numerous Northumberland Co. cemeteries? 1. Emma or Emaline SCHUCK (Abt 1836 - Aft 1890) Burial Information
    2. Greg Price
    3. I realize this is a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone might have the resources to find where Emma SCHUCK is buried. She was alive in Shamokin at the time of the 1890 Veteran's Schedule, however I can't find her after that. She does not appear to be buried with her husband, Jacob (died 1872) in Shamokin Cemetery. Because of this, I suspect she may be buried in the Oddfellow's Cemetery. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance. Greg (in EXTREMELY cold, Vermont)
