I have the following families from Milton, Sunbury, West Chillisquaque, Shamokin and Lewisburg (now Union County): KEYSER MORROW MEIXELL NOAKER I am currently trying to find out where they are buried. Talked to Joe Dunkle at the Lewisburg Cemetery and none seem to be there. Daniel Keyser, my g-g-grandfather was on the 1910 census for Lewisburg and I think died the following year but I know that he also lived in Milton, Sunbury, and West Chillisquaque so he may be buried in any of those towns. Any information on any of the surnames would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking of ordering the Genealogists Guide to Burials in Northumberland Co., PA Vol VI which was recommended by Joe Dunkle but am concerned about some past posting in 1998 about this book. I purchased a post card on Ebay of the West Cameron Band. Does any one know where I can get more information about it or the Eureka School?

I am looking for information on a Peter Troutner who was listed in the 1790 Northumberland Co. census. The only other reference we have is to a Peter Trautman in some records but can not find out how he can connects to the George Michael Troutner family. Perhaps someone clarify. I have searched several databases and can find Peter Trautners from Bavaria but our family emigrated from Gundershoffen, Alsace-Lorraine region. It is my personal opinion that they connect-with an emigration either from Germany to Gundershoffen or the other way around. HELP!!!! Pat Morano.

Dear fellow genealogist, I am currently working on a manuscript with my sister for Spring Creek Books and collecting inspiring family history stories to include in the book. We're currently naming the book "Whispers From Beyond". It's designed to be an inspiring book that includes a collection of true stories by people who have searched their family roots and discovered much more than names and dates. Their experiences testify that searching for our ancestors' records is much more than a passing hobby, and that there is something very spiritual about it that compels us to continue our quest. Some experiences could be called miraculous or coincidental, but the researcher feels a special unseen hand guiding his efforts. I wondered if you might have a story or two that you would like to share in this book format. Of course, I can't guarantee that your story would be included in the final manuscript due to the Editor's discretion, but I would definitely include your name in the book if it does. You may have already written down some of your special experiences in your journal and find this an opportunity to finally the take the time to record those memories for your posterity. In the recent newsletter, several of the family members seem to live in the same area as "my other side" that is connected to Eva Berkheiser. I was wondering if you would post this in your notes to those that live in the Pennsylvania Counties of Indiana, Snyder or Northumberland. I have been trying to find information about a relative that was the daughter of Jared J & Tabitha Fisher,her name was Lula (Lulu) Fisher. She was born in 1882 and died in a fire at a Theatre in 1911. She had a son, Leo and am quite certain that she was not married. Lulu's Mothers last address was Winslow, Pa and I believe that she is buried in the Pleasant Cemetery where her mother was interned. Lulu had 7 brothers and 2 sisters. (Wilson Nehemiah, Lemuel, Joshua,Henry, Jonathan, Amanda Edith,Mary M, Samuel and William) They resided in the cities of Gallitzin, Blacklick, Glen Campbell, Rossiter Clearfield. Many were born in Clearfield County. Many of the family are buried in Oakland Cemetery. I have been unable to locate any information regarding the 1911 Theatre fire that took Lulu's life. I am sure that it was near Indiana, Pa. Anyone who lives in the area might be able to tell me if they have ever heard of the fire or possibly what newspapers were in the area.
