    1. [PANORTHU] Clarence L Rebuck born 1891 in/near Shamokin - need help
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: laurarosefortuna Surnames: Rebuck Roadarmel Briel Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.northumberland/9966/mb.ashx Message Board Post: My great-grandfather was Clarence L Rebuck born 1891 in Shamokin (or thereabouts) who married Ruth M Roadarmel (born 1899 daughter of Harry Roadarmel and Flora Crist). I know from babybooks and such that Clarence's father's name is Ira, and that at some point he lived with his grandparents, the Briel's , who "adopted" him and maybe some other Rebuck kids as well as an "Aunt Laura." I have found old census records from 1900 where Clarence resides with Daniel and Amelia Briel along with Laura Clark, also listed as grandchild, and Daniel Rumberger (another grandchild of Daniel/Amelia's). I can't seem to figure out who Clarence's father is - there is an Ira Rebuck listed in Schuylkill, PA but he is married and has other kids so I can't see why only one would be left with the grandparents. Does anyone have any more info on Clarence married Ruth Roadarmel and his parents? Many thanks! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
