Line (PA) he applied 1818 in Mifflin Co, aged 67 a resident of Lewistown John or as John Shouler, PA Line, soldier was born at Phila 29 June 1750, he lived there at enlistment. Soldier's parents (not named) were German. Soldier's grandfather was Gabriel Shouler who at one time lived in Phila. Soldier applied 1832 at Canandaigua, in Ontario, NY, after the Rev., he moved to Northumberland, PA and in 1793 he moved to NY, grandchildren were referred to in 1813 but not named.
