    3. Bartholomew, Henry, born in 1735, died March 30, 1801, who lived and died in the vicinity of Zion Church, Northampton Co. Member of the stone church. He had a grandson, Jonas Bartholomew. Jonas lived at Danielsville, Moore township, later he moved to Lehighton,Carbon Co. He married Elizabeth Hess. Children; Robert, Levi, Jonas, Jeremiah, Sallie, married Samuel Kuhns, Nancy married Frederick Fisher, Helena, maried John Ruch, Christina married a Kistler. Jonas, son of Jonas, was born in Danielsville , Sept 21, 1829, died in W. Catasauqua, Oct 20 1901, buried in Fairview cemetery. Member of the Salem Reformed Church. He married Salena Dieter, d/o John and Salome (Driesbach) Dieter. She was born Sept 20 1833, died July 26 1909. Children; William H., John F., Ida E., Ellen M., married Henry Schmoyer, Louisa C., married Wilson Kleckner, Emma, married Elmer Kingcaid. Jeremiah, son of Jonas Sr., was born near Bath,in 1844, died 1807. He married 1st Sept 20, 1850 to Susanna Stehle, who died April 23, 1857. He marrried 2nd Jan 23, 1858 to Eliza Frederick . Children of the 1st marriage, 1. Elizabeth Jane, born 1851, married Francis Metzger. 2. James F., born 1852, lived in Allentown. 3. Ellen Amanda, born 1854, widow of Frank Reed. Children of the 2nd marriage; 4.Jeremiah born 1858, lived in Allentown. 5. Sarah C., born 1860. 6. Margaret C., born 1862. 7. William H. H. born 1863. 8. Emmeline L., born 1866. 9 Louis D., born 1870, lived in Oxford, TN. 10. Margaret E.S., born 1874. Nathan A., son of Jonas Jr., was born in Pennsville, Jan 25, 1856. He married April 26, 1881 to Rebecca J. Gilbert, d/o Edwin and Caroline (Tombler) Gilbert, of Catasauqua. Children; Edwin J., born 1882, married Meida Wenner, and they had (Edna M.), Harvey F., born 1885, married Eva C. Wenner sister of Meida and they had (Ralph J.), Charles A. born 1895. Philip, born Oct 5, 1836, died Jan 31, 1911, buried at the Stone Church. Children; Gideon, Philip, David, John, Heinrich. His wife, Maria, born June 23,1844, died Dec 28, 1906. Philip Bartholomew, a farmer, and who also sold rails and posts, had a part of the homestead and was upward of 90 years of age at the time of his death. He married a Miss Huth, who was probably his second wife/ David, son of Henry Bartholomew, was born at Danielsville. He resided near Bath, moved to Catasauqua, from there he moved to Iowa,in 1855, he returned to PA. He married 1st to Mary Keiser, 2nd to Sarah Kratzer. Children by the 1st; Alexander, Amanda, died in Pittsburg, Hannah, David, Sarah, Cyrus, John, Annie. James, son of Henry, lived at Beersville. He married ___Laub. Children; Isabella, married Josiah Walk, _____ married Samuel Burger.James lived on Liberty street, Allentown. Heinrich Bartholomew had two wives. Children by the 1st; Henry, David and several daughters. By the 2nd, Amos and Joel. Rev. Aaron Abraham Batholomew born March 17, 1833, died Aug 15, 1903 John Bartholomew was born at Cherryville, Northampton Co. He died at age 48. He married Ellen Houck, they lived at Emaus. Children; Grace, who married Howard Moatz of Emaus, and Joseph Joseph, son of John and Ellen, was born Feb 15, 1877, near Centerville, Northampton. He married Minerva Kocher, d/o Cyrus Kocher. Children; Margaret, Anita, and Ruth. Victor Lewis Bartholomew, was born in Hanover township, Lehigh Co., Aug 18, 1879. In 1909 hw married Nellie A., Schaffer, d/o Charles and Alice (Titus) Schaffer. Children; Truman, Ellwood, Raymond, Ambrose, Paul, Arthur, and Charles. His father, Jeremiah Bartholomew, lived at Shoenersville, Lehigh Co. He married Ellen App and their only child was Victor Lewis. His grandfather was Jacob Bartholomew, of Catasauqua, married Catharine Knappenberger and they had, Jeremiah, James, and Sarha.
