    1. Re: [PANORTHA-L] Newspapers & obits
    2. I've used the Morning Call paper archives for searches on Angelstein recently. I was able to find obits for a few siblings of Fred (Jr) Angelstein/Anglestein. Turns out his siblings or at least his brothers changed the spelling to Anglestein. They were mostly in Lehigh Co still but Fred Jr and his wife Angelina lived in Northampton Co in Bath. They are the two I have been searching for the hardest and haven't found their birth, marriage or death dates yet. I did find out from a nephew of Fred's who contacted me that he died in 1958. Also, he was able to tell me about the spelling change in the surname. Thanks to one of the list members sending me the obit for their father (Fred, Sr) which gave me the names of the siblings, I found them in the archives for the paper there online. At the time I wasn't sure if it was definitely his family. But I posted the obit with other info I had on several boards along with the obit for a little girl from the same family. A brother of the girl saw one and contacted me. Thanks to him verifying the info, now I have the proof I need that the two families are connected!! He even has pics of my friend's grandparents and greatgrandparents which I hope to get copies of before I give all the info to my friend. The obit for Fred Sr's granddaughter listed the cemetery and I contacted them the next day. The man there called me back with birth and death dates for Fred, Sr and his wife along with one of his sons. I'm in NC and several of you have been very helpful in sending me info and I wanted to let you know it is paying off with verifying names and connections! I'm researching this family for a friend of mine and I appreciate all the help from those of you in that area and the others who have sent me info on them or places to search. Susan
