Dauphin Co Adam Weise, son of John George and Eve Weise, was born Dec 23, 1751, in New Goshenhoppen, Phila Co. now Montgomery Co. His parents soon afterward moved to Heidelberg township. Om the 2nd of Feb 1772, he married Margaret Elizabeth Wingard, of Heidelberg, Berks Co., and the follwing year moved to Hargerstown, MD. In 1782 he moved to Upper Paxtang township and settled on the Wiconisco Creek, on the road leading from Cross-Roads to Berryburg. In 1788 he left the valley and located in Bethel township, Berks Co., but returned about 1796. In 1802 he took his residence in Millersburg. His first wife died in March 1828. Mr. Weise married the following Aug to Mrs. Mary Kuehly of Union County, who died March 29, 1828. He married third Mrs. Catharine Patton. Squire Weise died Oct 5, 1833, in his 82nd year. He is interred in David's Reformed Church grave-yard Best Wishes, Geri
