John Gradwohl (1814-1882) m. 1839 Mary Ann Grotz (1813-aft 1904); this is the John Gradwohl who was instrumental in the founding and building of Grace Reformed Church of Easton. They had 6 children: 1. Sarah Ann b. 1840 m. Simon Raesner or N.J.? (not found in the 1880 census) 2. Maria Catherine (1843-1929) m. Amandus Schug (1837-1906); they had 9 children b. btwn 1863 & 1878. 3. Susan b. 1847 m. Ephraim Bauer b.1839; they had 4 children b. btwn 1871 & 1880. 4. Adam (1851-1904) m. Priscilla Lerch (1852-1923); they had 4 children btwn 1874 & 1881. (this is my maternal line) 5. Levi (1854-1855) 6. Martha b. 1857 m. James Stem (not found in the 1880 census) In the 1880 census grandson, Irwin (Irvin?) Frey b.~1875 PA, both of his parents b.PA, is living with John and Mary Ann.
