Upper Milford township lived Jacob Weis, brother of Killan Sr. In 1790 he had two sons and 3 daughters. Killian Weis, son of Killian Sr., was born Jan 21, 1788, died Dec 23 1874, his name has been spelled Weis and Wise. He married Barbara Shelly born Jan 31 1796 and died June 20 1886. Soldier applied 1832 in Northampton Co. Soldier was born 1 Sept 1740 in Phila, however in 1832 it was stated soldier was aged 82 and upward. Soldier married Elizabeth Robinson 26 March 1772 at Phila and soldier died 9 Jan 1839 at Weisport in Towamensing Township, Northampton Co and his widow applied there in 1839 aged 85 Carbon Co. In Bethlehem, June 15, 1881, he married Ida Whittaker a native of Phoenixville. Reginald, Catharine, Elizabeth and Francis. William H. Weiss, s/o Francis, was born at Eckley, Sept 17, 1856, he married in 1879 to Mary Louisa Lentz, d/o Amos. She was born in Mauch Chunck and she had one son, William L. Weiss Weiss, Francis, born at Weissport, Carbon Co., Aug 17, 1820, he is the son of Thomas Weiss. His grandfather was Col. Jacob Weiss, a native of VA. Jacob came to PA when a young man. Francis Weiss married Elizabeth Koons, d/o Jacob. Children; Rebecca married Joseph E.
