War of 1812 Clauser, George, srv Capt Henry Willot's PA Mil Berks County-Clauser or Klauser family is decended from four brothers, Heinrich, George, Peter and John. The branch represented by Simon B. Clauser, of Earle township and Mahlon B., of Oley claim George as their ancester. The family record are quite complete and a brief outline of the other branches is also given herewith; Heinrich Clauser, one of the four brothers, died in 1808 in Earle township. His will on record, in Will Book 5, page 56 and his wife Ottillia (Babb) and son George were the executors. The other children were George, Abraham and Heinrich. George, son of Heinrich, died 1884 over 80 years of age and he is buried at Oley. He was twice married By his first wife he had only one son, Charles, born 1826. He married 2nd to Maria Moser, and had, Henry, Hannah, Maria,Caroline, William and Catharine. Abraham, son of Heinrich, He married Kate Levengood of Douglas township. Children, John, Elijah, Enoch, Mary, Aaron, Matthias, Henry born April 10, 1826 married in 1850 to Levina Leh and had (Franklin, Henry L.Jr, and Jacob), Elizabeth, Daniel, Sarah. Heinrch son Heinrich, married Elizabeth Yeager. Children; Catharine, Augustus, Henry and Mrs. Frank Boyer. John one of the 4 brothers, lived in Robesen township, where he made his wil 1836.
