ABEL, 63, of 93 George Ave., died Friday Nov. 11, in The Cottage Home, South Street, where he wasadmitted on Wednesday.He was a packer and tapper for Lone Star Cement Co.in Nazareth for 30 years before retiring on Aug. 5, 1993,due to ill health.Born Dec. 30, 1930, in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Emma SMITH ABEL of Upper Mount Bethel Township andthe late Leslie E. ABEL.He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Pacific.He was a member and past commander of Harold W. KNECHT American Legion Post 415 in Nazareth, a member of Kenneth S. BOWERS VFW Post 4366 inNazareth, and a member, past president and recordingsecretary of the Eastern District of the Junior Order ofUnited American Mechanics.He was an avid bowler and bowled a perfect game at Eckley E. Patch American Legion Post in Bath in 1980.His first wife, Elizabeth, died Aug. 9, 1962.He and his second wife, the former Lydis LESMAN, observed their! 30th wedding anniversary on June 30.In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by two daughters, Ruth Leslie, at home, and Sarah of Reading;a brother, Donald of East Stroudsburg; and a sister. KELLER Sr. honored by garden club Quakertown-- William Donald KELLER Sr., 90, of Third Street,died Wednesday, Nov. 9, in Belle Haven Nursing Home.He was a tool grinder at Bethlehem Steel Corp. for more than 25 years.
