Martin married 1st to Lizzie Huber, d/o Levi Huber, of Willow Street, she died in 1871 leaving children;(1) Ida A., born 1863, married J. Frank Her of Paradise township, children (Ivan, Edna, Myrtle, and Miriam); (2) John H., born 1864, married Barbara Irvin, children (Clara, Irvin, Lizzie, Clayton, Cora and Irene); (3) Catharine, born 1865, married Isaac Hostetter, she died at age 27; (4) Martin, born 1868, married Naomi Finnisfrock and had one son (Howard); (5) Abraham, born 1870, died as a baby. Huber I. Henry, grandfather,married Ann Herr, they had 9 children ( Henry, John, David, Christian, Jacob, Abraham, Fannie, who married John Rush) II. Henry, was born near Strasburg in 1773, maried Veronica Buckwalter and they had 8 children, (Mary who married David Hess, Susan, who married Peter Huber, Christian, Ann, who married Nathaniel Harnish, Fannie, married Jonathan Stauffer, Elizabeth, married 1st to John Harnish, 2nd to Adam Gochnauer, Martha, married Samuel Burkholder, and David). III David Huber, born Sept 4, 1822, he married twice, first to Elizabeth Good, d/o Christian, and they had 3 children; Frank, of MO., Catharine who married Amos Good, and one that died in infancy. The second marriage of David Huber was to Maria McCartney, d/o John, children; Amos of Cass Co., MO., John, Mary, who married David Hess and David H. I.David Witmeyer great-grandfather. II. David, grandfather, born Jan 31, 1800, died April 7, 1851 married Elizabeth Hummer and they had children; John, Jacob, Aaron, of Indiana, Elizabeth, wife of Dr.___Shaffer, Priscilla, the wife of Jacob Shue, Catharine the wife of Samuel Plasterer, and Anna. III. David, was born April 13, 1832, he married Susanna Hummer and they had three children; one died in infancy, Jeremiah, and Henry H. I. Henry Huber, grandfather, wife Anna ___ II. Jacob Huber, son of Henry, died at age 41, while his wife Mary Herr, lived to be 61. Children; Jacob of Lancaster, Henry moved to IL, Susanna, Eliza who married Cyrus Zittle III. Martin Huber, was born near Big Springs, July 23, 1823. On Nov 15, 1847 he married Maria Hoover, d/o Christian Hoover and Anna (Shaub) Hoover, who was born in Strasburg township, Sept 18,, 1825 and they had children; Aaron, died as a child; Emma who married David A. Huber; and Frances E., who married Henry Shenk. David A. Huber, of West Lamperter, born Aug 11, 1860, he married Emma S., d/o Martin and Maria Huber, of W. Lamperter. She was born Oct 26, 1861 and they had children; Carrie May born 1891, Martin, born 1892 and Christian, born 1893 H. C. Huber, of Providence township, was born Dec 19, 1863, s/o Henry and Susan (Charles), natives of Lancaster Co. Henry, father of H. C. was born in 1833, died in 1894, in 1856 he married Susan Charles, and they had 9 children; Annie, Aaron, H.C., Morris, Louisa wife of Albert Eshleman, Abraham, John of Conestoga township, Benjamin of Manheim township and Milton. H. C. Huber, married Sept 17,1885 to Mary Eshleman, d/o Eli and Susan (Mack). Children; Martin Mack, of Martinsville, Daniel of Drumore, Elizabeth the wife of Joseph Rankin, Jacob P.,of Pequea township, Susan, wife of Chester Andrews of Columbia, George of W.
