He married Sarah (Sally) Ann Kleintob 2 Jul 1837 or 1838 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. She was born 19 Jan 1816 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Most of their children were born in Luzerne County. In 1847 they moved to Lee County, Illinois. My GrGrandmother Sarah Jane Depuy was born there in 1851. This is what I think I know; on familysearch.org, Jonathan's parents are listed as Jonathan Depuy b 1790 in Maryland and Rachel Winner b 1794 in Maryland. I have found Federal Census records for Jonathan Depue for 1800 and 1810 in Lower. On the 1820 census Jonathan is listed in Smithfield, Northampton, Pennsylvania. There were many different spellings of the name that I have run across whether deliberate or accidental by census takers; Depuy, De Puy, Depew, Deprey, Depue, Depui, DuPuis, and Dupuy. It looks like they were all over from Pennsylvania to New York. As prevalent as these people were, I was hoping that someone from the list could help me get more information.
