I asked about REHRIG being RORICK. Anmd I told you something relating to that. HOWEVER! William ROARK, RWS, died Allen Co., KY 1832. My uncle married in WA state, 1906/7 thereabouts, and his marriage was witnessed by a ROUARK, of Pataha (Garfield Co.) I have been unable to locate him. OK. William had a son by the name of Reuben. Know nothing else about him. However, therwe was one Reuben ROARK LISTED , 1850, MONTGOMERY CO., IN, I believe, born KY ca 1810. I think, if I can recall correctly, there was one listed, in Greenville, KY. When Logan County, KY went the whole (almost) distance on the southern line, it took in most of this area. OK. Prior to 1976, I was writing my father's cousin in KS, and she made the statement that she had cousins here in this area. WHAT! Yes, Jefferson RIDDLE, went from Logan Co., to MO, , and his son, Lewis Washington RIDDLE went on to or was born in KS, and married Susan WERST, d/o Geo. Wash., WERST, s/o Tobias. Jefferson was related to Sam RIDDLE, owner of Man-O-War. And, I now know some of those who sued when the owner died. (This is all on the hush-hush,, on your part) No onme can put a background to William ROARK. He married Sarah DORRIS, and I have several Doris' in my famioly, of which I believe we have this name in our background. I will have to send this to you in parts, as it is lunch time. I will have to get my other thoughts together, during this time.
