I've noticed your name on various Pennsylvania research sites. I am not exactly sure if you can help me but maybe you can point me in the right direction. My great-uncle Don Leaser Sorg is our family historian. He is in his eighties and not in very good health. He has tried for years to find a connection to Frederick Leaser of Northampton County, Pennsylvania. I know you are familiar with him along with his liberty bell story. It has been passed down in our family that we are direct descendents, however we our missing one generation that links us to Frederick. Our ancestor in Ohio is Jacob Leaser, born in West Penn township, Feb 9, 1838; married Suzanne Schumaker; moved to Ohio in the 1860's. Uncle Don believes he is one of Daniel's ( son of Frederick) children but he has not found any concrete info on Daniel's three marriages or children. I was hoping to solve this mystery for Uncle Don before he dies. I hope you can help us. Please let me know if you have any info. I am changing my personal e-mail address next week. If you cannot connect to this e-mail address, please use my other one : [email protected] Thanks so much for your time Mary Goetz Ebel
