    3. Kirlin, Charles E., of Reading, was born May 28, 1878, at Locust Summit, Schuylkill County, s/o Elias and Mary (Roobach) Kirlin. He married Nov 4,1901 in Schuylkill Haven, PA., to Laura Edith Bowman (same place), the d/o Henry W. and Marietta (Butz) Bowman, born March 13, 1906, she married June 15, 1934 to Richard H. Hohl, of Reading. Hohl, Richard Harner, was born Jan 7, 1903 in Reading, s/o Walter and Mary (Harner) Hohl. His father was born in Birdsboro, Berks Co., Feb 5, 1880, he died Jan 11,1923. The mother was born in Schuylkill Haven. Richard and Laura had 1 daughter, Rosemary Kirlin Hohl. Keim, George May. General Keim was born in Reading in 1805, son of General George de Benneville Keim and Mary (May) Keim. He was a member of an PA family, tracing his ancestery to John Keim, who came to this country late in the 17th century and was a pioneer settler in Oley Township, Berks County. His son, Nicholas Keim, became a merchant at Reading in 1755. He brought the Indian Trading Post from Conrad Weiser. John Keim, son of Nicholas and Barbara (Snyder) Keim, and grandfather of George May Keim, was a soldier in the Rev. Children, Daniel and George General George de Benneville Keim, 2nd son of this marriage and father of Geroge May Keim, was born at Reading, Dec. 16, 1778 and died Aug 20, 1852. He married Feb. 4, 1799, Mary May, d/o of James May George May Keim, eldest surviving son of this marriage, married in 1827 to Julia C. Mayer, d/o the Hon. Christoper Mayer of Lancaster, State Senator. Mrs. Keim died May 12, 1857. Children; 1. George de Benneville, he married Elizabeth Cocke Trezenant and VA and TN, and they had two daugthers (Julia and Susan) 2. Charles Wetherill, who served on Gov. Houston staff in Texas. 3. Henry May Keim. 4. Julia Mayer Keim, married Gustav A. Behne, they lived in Texas, Cuba and Europe. 5. Susan Douglass, who married 1st Franklin Hewson of Phila., 2nd to her 1st cousin, Charles F. Mayer, of Baltimore. 5. Mary May, who married Dr. W. Murray, and they had children (Julia Keim Weidman, who married Grahame Dove Johnson, of Andover, MA, and became the mother of 1 daughter, Mary Keim Johnson, the only great-granddaughter of Gen. George May Keim, and now the wife of William Robinson McIlvain II. Bessy Murry Weideman, and Marion Doughlass Weideman, Laura Farquhar Weideman and Helen Murry Weidman). Weidman, W. Murray, M.D., was born in Lebanon, May 8, 1835, s/o Jacob Barge and Elizabeth Chamers (Murray) Weidman. and a descendant of Martin Weidman, a patentee of land in what is now Clay township, Lancaster Co.
