Hi, I am researching for information on Harrison Schisler. I think his father's name may have been Jacob. Harrison was born on 1-25-1835 in Lehigh Township in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He had a younger brother named George who was born Abt 1838. Both of them are found living with the family of George and Catharina Delp as early as the 1840 and 1850 census. Who could Catharina be? An aunt? Harrison married Maria Ann Leibenguth. I have been told by family members that George was robbed and killed on his way home from work (and that is was around the civil war time frame). I have, however, found a George Schisler matching his age time frame living in Northampton County, Pennslyvania listed in the 1870 and 1880 census.
