    3. First this was an answer for a look-up trying to connect these families, no research was asked for. In the National Archives, the is no pension file for John Howe,(PA) so if your are sure, the files were burned in the War Dept. fire. There is a William Howe (PA) no pension, srv. Capt Reese's Co, PA has a BLW. Howey, John, no pension, srv Capt. Dornblaser Co., PA Mil. War of 1812, There were a few soldier from Pike County in the War of 1812 but it is impossible to Ascertain the names of all. The following were chiefly from Pike and that portion of Northampton County which is now Monroe. Some who names are included in the roster were from Lehigh County, but it is impossible to effect a through separation, the entire roll is preseted: Roll of Capt. Native of Northampton County was born April 21, 1827 to John and Mary Hower, of Northampton County, of Allen township. Franklin M. Hower married Lydia Kuntz, sister of David Kuntz in 1852. Children; Jeremiah, Henry, Amemda, the wife of Cyrus March, Mary who married Joseph Fry and Sarah Howry, Abraham and Elizabeth (Keephart) Howry Howry, Christian (Rev) son of Abraham and Susan (Shoard) Howry. He died in 1900 aged 72. Walter C., son of Christian, born June 18, 1872, married in Nov 30, 1893 to Ida N.
