Hello List - I am trying to learn more about Jacob & Marie Sly/Schleich who lived in Plainfield Twp., Northampton Co., PA from ca 1755 to 1800. The PA Gazette in Phila., says they were burned out by the Indians in 1755. They are still there in the 1790 census and Marie is still there in 1800 census. Anyone know anything about Jacob? They may be the parents of my J. Frederich Schleich in Heidelberg Twp..
