did you check weber? Best Wishes, Geri -----Original Message----- From: Jan Stitz Sent: Sunday, March 16, 2008 8:47 PM To: panortha@rootsweb.com Subject: [PANORTHA] WEAVER - Lutheran Records Would someone know if there are any Lutheran church records for the late 1700's in the area of Lowhill, Macungie, Whitehall, Lower Saucon, or Heidelberg Twps.? I believe most of this area eventually became Lehigh County. I am looking for records on the WEAVER families of this area and I'm especially interested in finding the marriage of Jacob WEAVER to Christina DORMEYER around 1790-92 and the births of their first 4 children - Mary, Jacob, Jonathan, and Susannah born in the range of 1793-1800. They left this area and moved to Centre Co. around 1800 -1801. At Rootweb, I found the Records of Schlosser's or Union Reformed Church in Unionville, N.Whitehall Twp. 1765-1846. I found some of the DORMEYER family there, but no WEAVERS. I checked at FamilySearch.org for films that I might order, and the ones I found refer to Unionville, N. Whitehall Twp. starting in 1797. Would anyone know if there were other Lutheran churches in the area or if this was the only one in the late 1700's? Thank you for any help on this.
