History Musselman, Christian, subject Michael, the grandfather, of Paradise township, Lancaster and his son John, who was born Nov 11, 1811. He married Eliza A. Brackbill in Feb, 1834, he became the father of 11. Christian, Frank B., of Strasburg, Emma, the wife of Dr. A. J. Herr of Lancaster, Martha M., Barbara A., Lida A., wife of Dr. J. Musser, of Lampeter Square, Myra, wife of Dr. H. E. Musser of Witmar, Milton, Susan, Harriet Frances, Addie, twins, the first named married Reuben D. Herr. Christian, was born Jan 18, 1839, he married Mary Luetta Musser, d/o Jacob H. Musser Musselman, John, subect, of Lancaster, born Nov 9, 1811, s/o Michael and Barbara (Sherer) and grandson of David and Magdalena Musselman The parents of John Musselman were born at Silver Springs, Lancaster Co. The father, Oct 18, 1782 and the mother, March 19, 1785. The father died Dec 27, 1851, aged 70, the mother lived to be aged 80. Michael Musselman, was a distiller, miller, and a farmer, and a director for the Lancaster Bank. With his wife he is buried in the Presbyterian cemetery in Paradise, though the latter was a Mennoite.
